We The People

by Nos Populus

Dear President Obama,

“We The People” have stated resolutely we reject your vision for our country. You claim you have not heard us.

“We The People” have assembled across America resisting your efforts to subvert our constitution and undermine our liberty. You claim you have not seen us.

Since you have not acknowledged our message, let us here present it once more for if as President Wilson said, “a leader’s ear must ring with the voices of the people,” the time has come.

Our greatest treasure is freedom – the absence of restraints on our ability to think and to act. The corollary of freedom is individual responsibility. We believe in the power of the individual.

A few years ago President Bush said, “History moves toward freedom because the desire for freedom is written in every human heart.” Let us add that we will preserve it only as long as devotion to freedom is expressed in the heart of our actions.

When President Lincoln dedicated Gettysburg National Cemetery he declared, “It is for us the living to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus so nobly advanced.”

That unfinished cause for which our soldiers willingly go to battle and for which so many have given their lives is a free United States of America. It has been nearly one hundred fifty years and the work President Lincoln spoke of is not finished. In fact, that work will never be finished.

Freedom is the capacity of self-determination. It is not an entity but a condition and conditions change. Freedom can expand, yet so can it contract.

You promised change when you took office, Mr. President, but subjugation is not change we wanted or will accept.

You have expanded government, violated our Constitution, confounded laws, seized private industry, destroyed jobs, perverted our economy, curtailed free speech, corrupted our currency, weakened our national security, and endangered our sovereignty.

By compromising our nation’s cultural, legal and economic institutions, you are ensuring that our children will never achieve the same quality of life as we enjoy today. Through generational theft you are robbing the unborn of opportunity.

This is not acceptable. Not in America. We did not become a strong nation through hope but rather through self-reliance.

No one better understands the relationship between individual achievement, dignity and strength than our armed forces. Through every war our soldiers have held this nation’s destiny in their hands. They have not failed us. They cherish freedom enough that they are willing to die for it.

Our duty to them and to ourselves is to treasure freedom enough to live up to it.

We accept the challenge, Mr. President. That is why we are assembling across the land to deliver our message to you as often and in every way we can. Dismiss us at your political peril.

Our great nation is a Republic. We will not accept tyranny under any guise. Your policy to redistribute the fruits of our labor is Statism and will not be tolerated.

By our honor, Mr. President, we vow forever to resist coercive government in America. Patriots will not stand silent as you attempt to dismantle the greatest nation on earth. “We The People” will defend our liberty. We will protect our beloved country and America’s exceptionalism will prevail.

God Bless the United States of America!

Sincerely,

We The People

Feds Gun Grab?

We’ve heard this before!… er, have we forgotten history?

And then the comment from my sister.

I would just like to add my voice to the truth of this statement.  This did happen and we have been first hand recipients of it.  One of the problems we have is there are so many lies and stories going around that we have learned to take everything with a grain of salt, and too many times, look the other way.  When in doubt we just need turn to the Lord and He will fill your mind with the Truth.  My heart was in my throat as I listen to this simple, kind man, tell us of what was about to happen to him. There was no anger in his words just a deep sadness that pervaded his manner. The Sheriff here is STANDING with him and will come to see him safely off his property. Our world is full of danger and it is growing daily.  We must be willing to stand up for what is right and support one another.  It won’t be long until this evil will be at the doors of our homes.  For now it is outside of our homes but in all other aspects of our life’s.  I need not remind us of the many warnings given to us, we must watch carefully and be prepared for what is coming.  If we do not stand up today, we may never have a chance to stand up. It could be  then, everlastingly too late. I know that we cannot rely on the arm of flesh.  The most powerful tool we have is to Pray.

Think it won’t affect us in Virginia, err anywhere for that matter.  Find your voice America.

This just came to me from a good friend in Arizona.  Are you listening, America?

Hey All,
Yesterday we visited a mine SW of Quartzite, AZ. The owner of the claim gave a the most interesting tour and talked about what he is doing and achieving on his claim.
Then he told us about BLM forcing him and all the other claim owners off their claims.
It seems the BLM has taken the role that this Administration has been showing the past years in several areas.
They are forcing the owners off the claims using Recreation Laws and not mining Laws.
The owner expected they were going to show up today and arrest him and put him in jail for living in his RV on his claim, which he has done since buying the claim in 2002.
They have not allowed him to work his claim this year. They have increased his Bond amount so much it is way out of reason.
The BLM is armed, driving Black UTV,s, wearing Bullet proof vests and been closing down many of the trails in the surrounding area. They showed up at a meeting scheduled to discuss trail closures this winter dressed in their black garb and with weapons. Very intimidating to the people attending the meeting.
When the Government did their shut down last fall, they forced all the people to leave who has purchased permits allowing them to camp on the BLM grounds with no refunds.
Getting into his story further he told us the reason the BLM is doing all this is due to the monies the U.S. owes China and now China wants some collateral for the money, the Government intends using the claims and minerals on all the claims to secure the debt.
IT IS TIME WE ALL START CONTACTING OUR STATE CONGRESSIONAL PEOPLE, IN ALL OF THE STATES AND MAKE SURE THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN..
We need to take back what belongs to all of us as citizens, all our public Lands that is NOW in control of the US BLM and USFS.
Lets get our head out of the sand and stop all this

The Ant and the Grasshopper (Original and new versions

Posted by Greg Wilkins on December 24, 2013

OLD VERSION

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house

and laying up supplies for the winter.   The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the

summer away..  Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.

The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!

MODERN VERSION

The ant works hard in the withering heat and the rain all summer long,

building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the

summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands

to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while he is

cold and starving.

CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering

grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table

filled with food.

America is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be, that in a country

of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody cries

when they sing, ‘It’s Not Easy Being Green.’

ACORN stages a demonstration in front of the ant’s house where the news

stations film the group singing, We shall overcome. Then Rev. Jeremiah

Wright has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper’s sake.

President Obama condemns the ant and blames President Bush, President

Reagan, Christopher Columbus, and the Pope for the grasshopper’s plight.

Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the

ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an

immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share..

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act

retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs

and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is

confiscated by the Government Green Czar and given to the grasshopper.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends

finishing up the last bits of the ants food while the government house he is

in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant’s old house, crumbles

around them because the grasshopper doesn’t maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again.   The

grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now

abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the ramshackle,

once prosperous and once peaceful,   neighborhood.

The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest of the free world with it.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be careful how you vote.

I’ve sent this to you because I believe that you are an ant not a

grasshopper! Make sure that you pass this on to other ants. Don’t bother

sending it on to any grasshoppers because they wouldn’t understand it,

anyway.

The Candy Cane

Look at the Candy Cane
What do you see?
Stripes that are red
Like the blood shed for me
White is for my Savior
Who’s sinless and pure!
“J” is for Jesus My Lord, that’s for sure!
Turn it around
And a staff you will see
Jesus my shepherd
Was born for Me!
